A great and rousing acceptance speech by John Mann, and a constant reminder to Nick Cohen’s “progressive left” as to what anti-racism is _really_ all about.
“Just in time for Jewish-American Heritage Month, here’s a bit of disturbing news from the Boston Review (HT: Brainiac):
“In order to assess explicit prejudice toward Jews, we directly asked respondents “How much to blame were the Jews for the financial crisis?” with responses falling under five categories: a great deal, a lot, a moderate amount, a little, not at all. Among non-Jewish respondents, a strikingly high 24.6 percent of Americans blamed “the Jews” a moderate amount or more, and 38.4 percent attributed at least some level of blame to the group.”
Most surprisingly given the liberal Jewish tradition in the United States, Democrats were more likely to blame Jews than Republicans:
“…while 32 percent of Democrats accorded at least moderate blame, only 18.4 percent of Republicans did so (a statistically significant difference).” “
Not quite on topic, but had to giggle; this is how stwc describe Churchill’s play………..
“The play features seven families and travels through history, starting with the Holocaust and finishes with a contemporary situation in Gaza. Miriam believes the play has been labelled anti-semitic because it accused Israel of making mistakes in its dealings with Palestinians.”
Re: More democrats than republicans blame jews for financial crisis.
There was also a 10% difference with education, with more of those not completing undergraduate degree attributing blame. Without controlling for education/income/religion etc., these data are difficult to interpret meaningfully.

An Example of what John Mann and B-H Levy are talking about:
“Blaming Jews for the Financial Crisis”

Interesting that such views are more prevalent in the Democrats than Republicans; but of course, liberals can never be antisemitic.

I must admit, I did laugh out loud!

John Mann has been removed by the user – and I never even got to see him…
