    RIDICULOUS.
    The demographics of Labour are lost to the Jewish community.
    Only this week, Baronness Tonge hosts a deeply antisemitic meeting at the HoL, gets expelled by the LibDems and Tom Watson says he’d welcome her into Labour.

    Very sadly, I’m assuming the “TBA shortly before the event” on the jlm website is because that’s the security protocol for “Jewish” events and not because they don’t have a venue already.

    Who do they need protecting from?

    Being a member of jlm, I’m sad and ever so slightly tired with these events. Why is it necessary in 2016, who is it for, what is its purpose, what are the expected outcomes? A show of strength maybe, but to whom?

    The people who need to be there won’t be there. The people who need spoon-feeding and told unequivocally to stop being antisemitic won’t be there.

    I look forward to the report write-up.
