” So strong is the role of disavowing antisemitism in this political culture that it sometimes appears in anticipation of any actual accusation of antisemitism.”

This practice surely is anti semitic in that it implies bad faith without the slightest evidence i.e. it can only be said on the basis that sayer believes that “this is the sort of thing Jews [it must be mainly Jews] do”. Drawing a simple mental analogy with similar accusation against other ethnic groups will demonstrate even to the most intellectually challenged how racist this practice is.

Just like you-all-know-full-well-I’m-not-antisemitic-honest-gov Corbyn does to Lord Levy on Sky news and at every opportunity.
